Another old chestnut given a makeover thanks to the producer talents of the Doctor!!

Turned out pretty good I think, a solid pop rock tune, with great performances from Smithie, Mark and Henry.

Yeah, it prolly took a bit longer to get this one road ready .... but it´s something we can be proud of!
I really like the drumsound a lot, no extra samples used, just mixing Marks drums in!
And the vocalsound!!! Yeah!

Thanks Henry - a fine job you did! (and everyone for that matter)  ;D

Glad you liked the drum sound because you'll be working with the same on your next project.  ;)

Nice one Guys...reminds me of stuff from the movies in the 80's...when they made real music !

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

another well done tune.

rock-n-roll ain't pretty --- that's why they picked us to play it.

Thanks for listening, Nick!
Well, I never heard of The outfield so it's  coincidentally  ;D
If it's a band that was popular in the 80s it might be bc my musical socialization took place in that time... ;D

Edit: ah, I checked YouTube ... Yep I know their smash hit Your Love from '85... Yep, sounds abit like them ;D

Hey guys,

When Smithie and I wrote this one, we definitely had the Outfield in mind :). I think it was the mid-late 80s.

Just had to say great job guys. I really enjoy this song. I too am a product from the eighties and yes it's very much like the Outfield song "Your Love" Which is funny because "Your Love " was one of my daughters favorite songs. If the Outfield would have had this song they would have had TWO hits. Turned out Awesome.

Thanks MM! Yes, the 80s stuff gets knocked nowadays, but there was quite a bit of good music put out then. In fact MTV used to play mostly rock during 1987-1992.
