Music written by me years back.
We were developing this music at the time beeing to have it in our repetoar in our band Grey King.
Our leadsinger rejected the whole song after a while
his style was complete different from this version. So it ended up collecting dust in my harddrive.  :(

I ended up to asking Steve McAndrew if he was interested to write lyrics and do the lead .

Music was recorded in my studio , this was a test of an electronic drumset to start with.
sounded pretty cool so it ended up as a good musicbed.

Steve did his thing.
At the time i had some conversations online wit Dimitar Nalbantov which has done a great guitar solo work in one of Steves and my earlier song collabs.

So he did a great solo in this as well.

anyways , Sounded pretty good so one thing led to another and ended up as an full song.
The mix was under work and never really finalized.
but anyhow,still sounds pretty cool.

Steve :
All vocals & Lyrics

Sammy:
Drums.

Roger:
Bass

Dimitar:
Guitarsolo.*

Juhani :
All production, mix and guitars except *

Infinity Question

Hey, hey mama
Solve the riddle mama

Verse 1
Questions, questions requiring answers
In the night sky millions of diamond dancers
Companions to a universe far beyond counting
Meanwhile pressure keeps on building in the castle atop the mountain

Pre-chorus 1
The subjects are getting wrestless
Their number keeps increasing
There needs to be conclusion
To find an end but without ceasing

Chorus 1
Black King, White King
Ask the infinity question
White Queen, Black Queen
Ponder the infinity question

Verse 2
The Soothsayer and the Jester, they take their chances
While the Princess and the Footman exchange their glances
The court is getting nervous, unable to find the clue
While the Maid is in the counting house with the Prince the whole night through

Pre-chorus 2
The subjects are getting wrestless
Their number keeps increasing
There needs to be conclusion
To find an end but without ceasing

Chorus 2
Black King, White King
Ask the infinity question
White Queen, Black Queen
Ponder the infinity question
Years passed, time passed
Next in line of succession
Grey Queen, Grey King
Can they solve the infinity question?

Middle 8
Ah etc

Gtr Solo

Chorus 3
Black King, White King
Ask the infinity question
White Queen, Black Queen
Ponder the infinity question
Years passed, time passed
Next in line of succession
Grey Queen, Grey King
Can they solve the infinity question?

i like it.
so you're saying that's an electronic drum kit? brand and model? sounds good to me.
good tune.
good performances.
gotta love Steve's vocals - i always love the intensity in which he sings.
this deserves a double metal salute.

rock-n-roll ain't pretty --- that's why they picked us to play it.
