I am biased but I do think this is an absolutely beautiful piece of music Smiley

Here are the lyrics, inspired by that gorgeous chorused guitar pattern and sound, thanks Rob Smiley Smiley

Snowflake Lullaby (Wood/McAndrew)

Ooh snow is falling, ooh the flakes are calling

Foxes footprints criss-cross the garden made in dead of night
Snowy landscape, no more the virgin, the cubs will eat tonight
While inside, you sleep on, sleep on my love, I'm here to watch over you
Innocent in sleep, you lie so still
Nothing can touch you, my baby, my baby blue

Under your white blanket you lie, my picture of perfection, it makes me want to cry
Gentle motion, quiet you stir in your dream, before you briefly sigh
Here is my song to you my snowflake, snowflake lullaby

Dreams exist , to catalogue the past, but in a dream can be the future
I love to lie here and just watch you sleep, to me, my heavenly creature
So sleep on, sleep on my love, I'm here on the watch for you
In sleep's innocence, you lie so still
If I need die for you, it's done, my baby, baby blue

Under your white blanket you lie, my picture of perfection, it makes me want to cry
Gentle motion, quietly you stir in your dream, then you briefly sigh
Here is my song to you my snowflake, snowflake lullaby

Go to sleep now
Deeply dream now
Stay in sleep now
Do not fear now
I am here

Under your white blanket you lie, my picture of perfection, it makes me want to cry
Gentle motion, quietly you stir in your dream, before you briefly sigh
Here is my song to you my snowflake, snowflake lullaby

Snowflake Lullaby
On angels wings you fly
My joy makes me sing
My Snowflake Lullaby

Thanks Tricia and Bill Smiley Smiley

Dave is still occasionally around, it's sad not more often, him being such a master of the stringed instruments Cool

Nice. Bright guitars. Bright mix. It's really loud. I had to turn down my levels. Holy Smokes you got a lot of volume out of this. Nice to hear Steve lay back on the vocals a bit. Beautiful tune. Really nice feel. Makes me feel good!!  Smiley

 Cool

Thanks AJ and J, I could do nothing else given that wonderfully luscious chorused guitar bed (thanks Rob), the lyric and vocal could only go one way and it was nice to sing a vocal, as opposed to my usual controlled (arguable) screaming Smiley Smiley Smiley

There's too many good songs here....I don't get time to listen to them all....I'm listening to this as the snow is falling here....suits the mood.

Thanks guys and gal! Smiley  I always like the imagery Steve conjured up for this one.  And it comes across in the most heartfelt way.  Nick, the mix shimmers like a moonlit winter's night! Smiley
