Very nice cunning stunt

I have to agree with the Sweet feel. Cool stuff. Crazy tune man. Love those harmonies. 8) Wow that was a fast song!! 2 min. !! :o
-
It sounds like you had a ball doing this guys! A real 'Ballroom blitz' of a song. ;D
Sounds great....especially the sound of the guitars.
Billy.

Thanks guys,
It was a blitz of a song to sing and I have no idea where the lyrical idea came from ;D ;D
I tend to think Sweet meets Rush....oh no it's another band title Sweet Rush!!!
I'm just glad you liked it guys.
Nick's unmistakable gtr tones, drums and mix with the amazing Dave Addis (where are you Dave?!)!
Quick story for you.
The lead singer in the Sweet was Brian Connolly and I used to work with a drummer from Kirkcaldy who was one of the pall bearers at Brian's funeral.
He also carried a cord at Rory Gallacher's............absolutely true guys.

Thanks for listening guys!
When I wrote the music for this, I kept telling the drummer to speed up. I wanted it so fast I had a hard time keeping up. It used to be called "158" because it ran 1:58!
I sent it to Steve and thought he wouldn't like it. But he came up with those brilliant lyrics.
I always thought "cunning stunt" was a play on words! >:D
Thanks!

Cunning Stunt..........I don't know what you mean guys!! >:D >:D >:D >:D

As for the Blitz thing, do you guys remember a band, I believe from Switzerland, called "Krokus"?
They had a version of the "Ballroom Blitz" tune, much like this Nick and Steve's tune

Sounds like Ac Dc and Gun n roses put together. Great job you guys.

I can't remember for sure, but I'm sure Nick's original title was something like 158 because that's how long it was ;D ;D
Glad you like it anyway :) :)
