Title: calibrate 0 db
Post by: groverk on April 02, 2007, 01:15:01 PM
What is the procedure for calibrating the db meters in Sonar, Pro Tools, Ect... ?

My sound cards are M-audio Delta 1010's.

The Meters are off from each other and I'm not sure which is the correct one.

Ken.

I can make you a set of calibration files if you want. Tell me if you want WAV or AIFF, stereo or mono, and the calibration level you want. Meter calibration is usually done at 1KHz. Remember to have your speakers turned right down when you play the file. You'll see how much your channel is "out" with a known reference level.

Thanks,
