Was wondering how you can take a recorded sound and make it play backwards ?
Thanks for any advice.

what are you using for audio?
In Sonar I highlight the clip, click the Process tab and select reverse.
Reverse, add some revereb and reverse it back to get the poltergiest effect

Ray,
That's what I'm looking for, but I use Reaper.
I'll have to dig around and see if I find a reverse.
Thanks

If you email the guy he'll probably add it in a future update if it doesn't have one already.

In the mean time, I'm sure someone would offer to process the clip for you, if you ask. 8)

I can't seam to find any reverse in Reaper that will play the clip backwards
I'm just messing around with something and thought it would be cool to hear how it would sound backwards....nothing important.
Thanks for the help guys.

Looks like Jason answered your question at reaper. I found another thread where they try all kinds of stuff.
