Ok Paul. I forgot to post a vocalless last night. I will remember tonight. Let's take another crack at it.  I would really like for this to turn out as good as possible. I really like the song. It's just been one of those buggers. Maybe David would want to retrack the bass? He did mention that at one time but I said it was ok.

Ok Dave. Will do. There's really nothing wrong with the first take other than low volume on some of the runs. I boosted them but I did notice some extra hiss that comes with it. Minor volume boosting is fine but in some areas I was boosting 10+ db. That's when I began to notice background noise. I'm not sure if just boosting volume is the right thing to do. Maybe there's better tools to use? My mixing skills and use of plugins such as compressors & gates is very limited. I have so much to learn in that department. 40 years later and I'm still learning to play the damn guitar.

I just put in a new motherboard and processor so I'm busy re-installing everything.

Sounds good Dave. I plan on doing some upgrading in the next few weeks myself. I'm using windows 2000 so I'm going to install XP. A new soundcard and a bigger hard drive. Maybe add another gig of ram if I can. It's about all I can do until I can afford a dual processer.
