I know this is going to sound cruel, but I listened to this again and suddenly heard Duran Duran performing it. Maybe it's the synth sound, but that leaves me in an awkward position. I always said I didn't like Duran Duran, yet I like this...help!

I can't stand Duran Duran

I thought this sounds more like Squeeze than anything else

Just heard it. I like it. Parts of the keys were close to duran druran's style but not much.

It's YOU! Not Duran Duran...

I liked the vocals, lyrics and the artistic touches. Cool! Everything worked well. The guitar solo was
"Perfect".. very inventive who ever played that. Modern sound. Sometims it's nice with out all the back-up vocals and harmonies. I ound it nice just as I heard it. That amasing phase phrase may have been  cool
with a tone treatment. Because it's the chorus line. Instead of backup  & harmony vocals. There was a touch of Lennon in there...
