Another one done! A bit of soul influenced rock?
Many thanks to Frank for supplying all the splendid guitar parts and a solid mix, Jay for the soulful vocals and keys work, and Todd for delivering the groove!!!

If You Think That's Better (c) Andy Gupta/Frank Zax 2013
bpm=104
When you sent me that letter
Saying you wouldn't come and call;
You thought it better
If you weren't here at all
Well if you think that's better
If you think that's better......
You could have told me
What you felt was wrong;
Did you think we'd lost it
Or did we come on strong
Oh you could've told me
You could've told me......
Yesterday was a dream away
I was in your sights I was on your mind
Now today you've gone and thrown it all away;
Oh you- why can't you see what you do
You do to me
Yeah you do to me
Well if you think that's better.......
Solo
When the dust will settle
Everything will fall in place;
And if I were to see you
You'd be another human face
Oh yes the dust will settle
The dust will settle..........
Repeat bridge then outro
If you think that's better.....
Personnel:
Frank Zax: Guitars, mix/master
Jay Lemothe: Vocals, Piano, Organ, Synthesizer
Todd Vierra: Drums
Andy Gupta: Lyric, original music, bass, tambourine

I'm liking this. Yep a very good groove going on here, lynchpin of the song. A great backbone you laid there Thunder.
I also like the keys at the end, great stuff.
Not to mention the vox and lyrics and of course the BASS, what great bass lines.
overall a great collaboration ;D

How did you do that ending?? Great!!!!!

Thanks Henry, glad you like!
I think Jay leant on the pitch wheel till it broke off and then he threw it out of the window.

Or he somehow rigged up a whammy bar to his organ and dive bombed it a la "Eruption".
John Lord meets Eddie Van Halen!

To me it sounds as if the whole track´s getting pitch-wheeled-down... really cool! 8)
