Title: midi controller with amplitube in reaper question
Post by: rightonthemark on February 23, 2014, 11:28:00 PM
thinking about getting a midi controller for amplitube and not sure which way to go...usb...or midi...connection.
here's a usb connected midi controller. but I'm wondering if it might affect the performance of my usb audio interface while recording. and whether or not it will allow me to control multiple instances of amplitube in my daw (reaper) at the same time. for example the two left buttons could maybe be set for a clean and dirty setting for guitar track one while the two right buttons set for the same but on guitar track two with two guitar players playing together.

then there's the traditional midi connected controller which i assume would connect via my usb audio interface (it has a midi in and out). i wonder also if it can do what i suggested above.

any help/insight would be fantastic.
thanks...
