Title: James Dean (Casia/Hannah/Andy/Billy/John/Argle)
Post by: AndyG6508 on January 27, 2011, 10:07:31 PM
Hi MCS,

This was my first ever collab on MCS......I read Casia's super lyrics, like them instantly, and came up with a 50s rock flavoured bed track. Billy and John very kindly stepped in to help out with super contributions.

But more importantly, this song is a showcase for the talents of young Hannah Clohessy. Under the watchful eyes and ears of "Dad" (Bobby take a bow mate ;)), she graced the song with a confident, tuneful vocal that well belied her young age.

I am sure she will go places and I hope we will hear more of her on here!!

Personally, I wasn't too sure the song was done production wise, but wiser counsels seemed to have prevailed. So here it is.

Andy

I really enjoy this song Andy, thanks for posting.  Yes, it's great to get one's first collab done no matter how long it took  :).  I'm just about to send it off to the charity compilation and see if it gets accepted, the deadline is now.

The compilation album will be promoted to worldwide radio outlets including Sirius/XM, and In-flight Programming. Promotion will also include pitching distribution through Starbucks, Target, Barnes & Noble, and more distribution channels and released to all the major digital platforms including iTunes, Amazon, etc. Proceeds will go directly to benefit the children they serve who are in the hospital undergoing treatment for cancer or other life threatening illness and blood disorders.

Wish us luck.

But credit is due to everyone who came together to get this song finished, its worthy of radio play anywhere in the world. Great overall finish pop song imo.

Great stuff indeed

Andy, can I get a file bigger than 192 kbps.  I'm loading this on a site where I can sell songs.

Isn't this just a wonderfully fun song and so well sung by Hannah.  It's a joy to come back and listen to songs I haven't listened to in a while.  I'm going to load up Bottleneck as well.

I'm trying to gather all my songs together in one place with ALL info attached so they are easy to find when I need them for something "grand" lol!

So much to do  :D

Hi Casia,

From the size of the mp3 posted here I think the bit rate is 320.....Im assuming you want a file with a lower bit rate than 192? Or did you want a higher quality file- I have an ape of this somewhere.

Yes, it turned out cool and young Hannah did a sterling job.

In fact it was my first ever collab started though it took a while to complete.
