EDIT 2015-02-22: Replaced with FINAL VERSION
This song was a collaboration with Mike Basil and others over at Kompoz.
There is another version with a guitar solo which I'll have to tweak some more before releasing it.
Mike Basil: Vocals, Lyrics, Vocal Melody
Rob Glass: Bass
Dean Wuksta: Drums
Billy LeCoq-Mauvais: Intro Sax
Anthony Cook: Intro Sax, Backup Sax, Solo Sax
Chuck Mac: Trumpets
Steffen Offermann: Original Music, Mix & Master

Hey that's a pretty laid back groove Steffen...cool
The brass really brings it to life, and the vocals sound great.

Thanks for listening, Mark! :)
It was fun to work with these guys. The recording quality was pretty good.

nice one gang.
definitely a motown feel.
could have used some motown female singers doing the back-ups (maybe the vandellas)
all around classy sounding tune.

Thanks to you too, Nick and Mark!
BTW, the intro sax will be re-done by the sax player who did the other parts. That makes three versions then. :)

Very cool vibe to this!! 8)
Love the way bass grooves in the solo section.
Well done all around!

Thank for listening, Frank! :)
BTW, I just added an update with a modified intro:

One more update - the intro has been refined, and I did this completely fresh mix in Sonar (my very first mix in Sonar ever).
There is one tiny thing that still bugs me, but I cannot fix that until my hearing gets better, and I actually don't think it's a biggie. You may not even notice it. :)
See first post! I deleted all the old versions (btw - 155 downloads, wow! :) ), and replaced them with the latest version.
Thanks for listening!
