Well this is track 6 for the album.... we are moving along nicely. This is a fresh spin on one of my old punky demo's and the guys have blown me away with their work. We actually have vocal harmonies from three of us on this ....we will get you singing yet J :)
Basically it is a happy little everyday ditty about a pyromaniac and his revenge.....sweet
Guitars/Keys/Backing Vocals -Billy Playle
Bass/Backing Vocals- Andy Gupta
Keys - Jay Schankman
Drums/Guitar/Lead Vocal/Production/Song - Ian Burrage
Band Promotion - Casia
Fire & Brimstone ( Burrage )
(V1)
Creeping up the back stair
Blissfully unaware
Feeling no danger
Passing a stranger
Trevor has a plan
They won't want to share
(V2)
In the latest edition
A burning ambition
He's giving no reason
For turning the heat on
Trevor wants to talk
Now they all want to hear
(ch)
No not never no
No one loved Trevor so
No one saw him come & go
Did his work & let it grow
Could it be did he see
See it done on his TV
Such a hot reality
Fire & brimstone
(V3)
Better say your prayers
Judgement is here
It's no good hoping
This jester's joking
If Trevor wants to laugh
Then they tremble with fear
(V4)
Those who'd mistreat him
Will never defeat him
It seems only he knows
The doors & the windows
Can give no escape
Now he's locked them in
(ch x4)
No not never no
No one loved Trevor so
No one saw him come & go
Did his work & let it grow
Could it be did he see
See it done on his TV
Such a hot reality
Fire & brimstone

Stoney,
Good to see this track released.
One of your specials about a rather "eccentric" young gentleman.
I hope they keep the matches away from you at home.
Cheers
Andy

What I like most about this song is the strong English accent. It contributes perfectly to the brit-pop feel. :)

Okay, this has been added to indiemusicworks. Okay, this has not been added...the MP3 is too big it says. Do you have a smaller one Stoney!!!!
Andy, are you keeping "Garageband" updated. I don't go to that site very often to check it out.

Listened to a bunch of Stonehinged tunes (over and over) at work last week. I'm noticing a pattern:
o they usually start/end with sound effects
o the lyrics are usually insane; but there's always a story
o the guitars are completely haywire
Luckily, this strange mix works for me and I never get tired of them and I found Trevor particularly endearing. It's right up there with Maxwell's Silver Hammer on the "Silly Songs About Criminals" charts.

Hey Peter
