These are older, but I remember reading some good things about them.

Carlo,

The Powr3 in Sonar is probably one of the best.

I did a mix exercise at prosoundweb.com. They do these once a month and talk big about what they use. So.....

I did the mix in a completely "free" environment. I used the evaluation Reaper DAW and all free plugs. Reaper doesn't have dither, so on mixdown, I needed to drop it from 24 to 16 bit.

I was just curious what kind of mix I could do with all free vst's and Reaper and not tell them until the remarks came in. :)
