Title: A large Thread of People's Studio Photos
Post by: Eddie on May 11, 2008, 09:52:06 AM
Nick I hope this is ok to post here. Another forum that I go to has a thread showing a lot of studio photos (some just home studios and others professional). I thought other members here may be interested in perusing them especially if they were doing room treatments and such.

Here is the link: http://studio-central.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=37

Hey guys,
More pics up soon, but this is a studio that I put all of the gear in and wired.  Not bad for a home studio!!!

Ok, so this isn't a studio..but this is one of my client's guitar collections.  Sad thing is this is only about 1/3 of what he has or less!

Rofl, Yeah..I wish I was my studio!!!  I've got some damn good gear but my room isn't anything like that at all.  I just helped make it happen.

And yeah, that guys guitar collection is kind of retarded...I about crapped my pants when he first put that wall up.

You wouldn't limit a painter to one brush, or a sculptor to one chisel though, right?  lol  (That's the argument I use on my wife when she gives me the old "Why do you need another one?")

I had the brownie up on the hill above the house yesterday, while I was taking the jackalope for a walk. And, thought I would snap a shot of the ole homestead. I put an arrow on the snapshot to point out the studio. I'm kind of proud of it. Momma likes the Idea of not cluttering up the rest of the house with all my stuff.
The acoustics are pretty good, unless a rooster is crowing on the roof. Or, a couple of the other critters are scuffling under the floor.
The tin foil on the windows, is probably not doing all that much to help. But, it does add a touch of class to the recording session.  ;)
Anyway, I don't want to brag, but it is what it is.  ;)

You're all jealous. And, it's expected.
However, work hard. And, live clean. And, you can achieve great things, too. ;)

And, no, the vocal booth is actually the converted bathroom in the trailer. You just sit on the throne and wail away.

Here's my "studio". In a quiet sitting room, but I sometimes bring it into my closet for singing.

I know I posted this elsewhere on here, but figured I should add this to the collection.  A cheesy video I made of studiogerk a while back to test out my new camera setup ...
