This is a recording and mix from 1999. I thought I'd post it since it's definitely in the spirit of Halloween >:D
Mark
P.S. Don't try this at home.

I appreciate the kind words, Mike. Timing doesn't come natural for me, so I remember it took lots of takes for the leads ;)

My guitar teacher and I (who happens to be a former AAA ball player) had fun listening to this one today. I won't pass on the comment he made about crazy country musicians though. :)

Peter, that's pretty funny that he thinks there are whacked-out country singers running around singing about hitting people with bats. :)

Oh man! I suppose you work SWING shift!! >:D ;D
-
Is that really you singing, Mark?!?
Great stuff. Sounds very professional to me. A keeper for sure.

Yeah, it's me singing, albeit a decade ago :). It was written solely for a feature film, intended to be a sort of "horror musical", but the "musical" aspect didn't make the final cut. It does, however, appear on the DVD in a DVD Extra called "The Songs Behind the Story":

Cool, Mark! Isn't it nice to have a DVD with yourself on it on your shelf?
Is the film as good as the music?

Steffen

Yep, pretty cool. I'd say they're about equal :)
