Song No. 3 for WOUNDED HEALER
This is Acedimus (Chiron's mentor) speaking to him after he was hit by Hydra's poison arrow. And yes, the character is old and rugged and the vocals are meant to be wild and rough.
written by: Henry Mittnacht/Benny Moore (c)2011
Lyrics: Casia (c)2011
Henry: Guitars, Oboe, Drumprogramming, Mix
Bill Heinowski: Score and Orchestration
Michael McKinnon : Bass
Dean Leo (HotRocker): vocals
SAVE US
(V1)
A prophet won't take time to figure this one out
It's written in your soul
A thousand years means nothing to someone like you
Who won't face the truth
(Pre-Chorus)
Twilight hours
Ruminate, where no one else would dare to go
All the gods have hearts of steel and no humanity
And I can't breathe
(Chorus 1)
Don't forget those callous nights
Blood was rushing like a raging stream
Dreams of all those victims left unseen
Because of what we have become
And what were you to save us from
With your gentle soul
Some things are fate
Save us from our own mistakes
(V2)
Remember you're the one to always do things right
And everybody knows
When you lead a crazy horse up on a hill you
Expect him to roll
(Pre-Chorus)
Twilight hours
Ruminate, where no one else would dare to go
All the gods have hearts of steel and no humanity
And I can't breathe
(Chorus 2)
Don't forget those callous nights
Blood was rushing like a raging stream
Dreams of all those victims left unseen
You could have been ripped limb from limb
But never had the reaper's grim
With your gentle soul
Some things are fate
Save us from our own MISTAKES
oh yeah, yeah
Yaaaaa
Yeah, yeah aaaah
(Chorus 1)
Don't forget those callous nights
Blood was rushing like a raging stream
Dreams of all those victims left unseen
Because of what we have become
And what were you to save us from
With your gentle soul
Some things are fate
Save us from our own mistakes
Save Us
Our wwn mistakes
Save Us
Our own mistakes
Save us
Our own mistakes
Save us
Our own mistakes
Our own mistakes
Our own mistakes
Our own mistakes
Save us
Own mistakes
Own mistakes

Oh, look at all the comments. Thanks everyone, Doc's music really felt right for the piece so I just had to have it and he didn't even charge me.
Christina's role as the Fairy Woodnymph in love with Chiron will be next ... stay tuned.

This character is a centaur - Chiron's old mentor
Here's a taste of libretto
They say I'm a beast
But I know I'm a least 1/2 a man
For I think and I drink
And the women I know
See my jovial side
Haha
And I know what it's like
To live 1/2 a life
But it's better than no life at all
so I'm told
So get back on your feet
And you'll plainly see
What a difference a day can make
For God's sake

Mark, Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!
conc. Primal Fear: They are from Germany and I recently met both guitarplayers and their boss and bassist bc they were the backbone of the Rock meets classic band. Since 7 years the tour around Europe with famous guys, recently I met Kansas Steve Walsh. I had the honor to be his doctor on tour!
