This was an ongoing project, started in February, last year. The bed track has changed multiple times, along with tempo, but I think everyone's happy with the final product.

Smurf did a complete overhaul of the song, back in December, which everyone loved. Unfortunately, we had to make some changes, and it was impossible to keep his tracks, because he no longer had the Seps. However, I was able to retain his arrangement and structure, even if I did have to recut the drums and bass and acoustic guitars he'd done. I would have preferred to keep his mix, but there's no way we could make needed changes to Christina's vocals, if we did that.

Here's the final credits for this version:
Christina Britton= Lead and Harmony Vocals
Smurf= Arrangement
Neil Swanson= Cheese Organ
Danny Milligan= Music/Lyrics. Guitars, Piano, Bass, Drums, Accent vocals.

TOO LATE FOR TEARS

Too many teardrops have fallen, Darlin'
too many lies have been told
You've been away for so long, now
I have nothing left but memories, to hold
I hear your voice in my mind, I feel the
touch of your hand
How you could leave me behind, like this
I'll never understand...

Too many years without being happy
this pain is all I know
The emptiness inside is the same
whether you stay, or go
You want to come back and try again
that ship has already sailed
All those years that were wasted on
a love that was doomed to fail...

CHORUS:
It's all over but the crying, baby
and I'm all out of tears
This love we had has been dying, baby
I don't know how many years
The words my heart has been saying, darlin'
have never reached your ears
I tried to cry for you, one last time
but it's too late for tears...

(guitar solo)

(Repeat Chorus)

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this, honorable mentions go to AndyG for early bass work, and Smurf for all his input and the tremendous influence he had over the total project.

EDIT: Replaced the final track with another, hadn't noticed a slight glitch in one of the guitars...

Nothing you play is original... at some point in time, someone else thought of that, and tossed it to the side, lol!

IT'S BEAUTIFULL  :D... The guitar licks reminds me of Jeff Beck, lovely.
Live the best you can 'cause you're gonna be dead for a long time.
