Alright all, I believe this is MY first song to be finished here. This started as nothing more than a cheaply recorded idea of a vocal melody and its lyrics, inspired by my own battle with cancer just last year.
Then Robwood came in and made it into an actual song. And, many more of MCS's bests came aboard to help make it complete. I love what it has become, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it.
A big THANKS to the crew: Ali Kat-singer/songwriter

Jaaman-piano/strings/organ

Man there's alot of really talented people on this one. Hope I didn't forget anyone or anything! You all rock!
STILL WALKING
Ali Kat
2007
Just brushed shoulders with death today.
He didn't have very much to say.
I looked him straight into his eyes and said,
"Sorry mister but I won't die.
You see me breathing, you see me cry,
Just more to prove I'm still alive.
There's far to much in life yet to do.
I won't give up to go with you.
I'll get up, brush off, and keep on walking."
A little bruised, a little sore,
Nothing that I can't ignore.
My angel's working overtime
Pushing me over the walls I climb.
My heart is beating, my body's fine.
Just more to prove, I'm still alive
There's far too much in life yet to do
I won't give up, no I"ll push through.
I'll climb up, jump down, and keep on walking.
I'm destined to move on
At least for today.
And, I'm proving that I'm strong.
And, that I'm here to stay.
Baby let hold on and thank god that I'm still walking
It's a miracle that I'm still walking.
Watch me walk away.
Well I know that I'm strong,
And its here I belong
At least it is for today.
So watch me go on as I keep walking
Watch me walk away,
Watch me walk away.
