"Things I Can't Replace"

I can't believe I'm standing here
Right outside your door
And that you said those many things,
That you have said before

And yes I know that you've moved on
And you like being free
But I have written this last song
A tragic melody

I miss the way the sunlight falls
Upon your pretty face
I miss those nights, I miss it all
They're things I can't replace
I miss the way you laughed at me
The teasing and the jokes
Now there is nothing left for me
Except a sense of hope

Yes I am a dreamer,
A hostage to the past
And I may be afraid
To admit it couldn't last

But I have fallen many times
And many times I've failed
But I have learned
I have the courage to prevail

I miss the way the sunlight falls
Upon your pretty face
I miss those nights, I miss it all
They're things I can't replace
I miss the way you laughed at me
The teasing and the jokes
Now there is nothing left for me
Except a sense of hope

The things I can't replace

Nice job gang!

Very well crafted song and fine performance by all.

Another fine finished collab!

Nick

PS. Maybe we could have the lyrics in the first post Johnny?

Nice sound, good tune.

Curtis - Very clean - I like when your voice goes into the lower registers.

Just curious about the word Melody...

Dropped Inn to give some feed back and pay tribute to the great work.

The piano is played very well and it has a lovely tone. The melody is really well thought out.
Curtis vocals are none the less sung like a try singer. A true professional and the pitch is
on the money.
The lyrics are well written and the arrangement is attractive.

Great Jopb Gentlemen.

Shine On
