Here's one I've been needing to post here for a while. I was trying something different, a song with a dance beat. I was inspired by Casia's lyrics, Andy laid down a cool, solid bass part, and Doc added his guitar artistry to spice things up.

Andy - bass
Doc (Henry) - rhythm and lead guitars
Benny - vocals, rhythm guitar, drum programing and mixing
Casia - lyrics and cheerleading

A THOUSAND DREAMS
By Casia and Benny

(V1)
Everyday I dream a thousand dreams
They're not exactly what they seem
Nothing's real and nothing's fantasy
Can't remember when I lost my reality

(Chorus)
So I sit and wait for another day
For a thousand dreams to take me far away
I've left my window open so you can climb on in
And a thousand dreams will let it all begin

(V2)
One by one, replay my mistakes
Hoping someday soon I will awake
The sands of time all took their toll
Now I've got nowhere left to go

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
What will I see
When I open my eyes
Will it be the end
Or a new sunrise

(V3)
When did I put my life on hold
Now I pray I haven't lost my soul

(Chorus)

I noticed you didnt mention who did the mix in the credits...the mix sounds very good.

This song sounds like something you would hear on the radio in the 80's

Benny you have a definite style of writing which I like , and a good voice to back it up.  Keep up the good work.  :)

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

Another nice tune by The Misplaced Texans. Must have a CD's worth by now. Great vocals as per usual. Catchy tune.  :)
