This was a nice quick bit of fun .... Last week mike asked me if I was doing anything for Halloween and up until then I wasn't...I was trying to be disciplined enough to finish the drum tracks I had promised folk....but I couldn't resist it could I..... Eat My Brain was born
OK I thought this was done but I had a late vocal addition from (Crazy) Carol Sue Kirkpatrick ...the monsters never stay down in the movies either do they LOL.
So there is an additional version below .... great vocals Carol Thank you
Crazy Carol Sue Kirkpatrick - Vocals
Mad Mike Woodford - Guitars and Evil Laugh
Vicious Vicky Woodford - Ear splitting Screams
Insidious Ian Burrage - Drums/Vocal/Bass/Production/Stuff
A big thank you to Carol Mike and Vicky ....great stuff

Eat My Brain I Burrage 2009
V1
I like the Dead
They've come to call me friend
I wont complain
They'll get you in the end
I love the night
It covers all my sins
Dont have to hide
I am the beast within
Ch
I keep dreamin
I'm not dreamin
Vampire at the door
He'll suck my blood for sure
I keep dreamin
I'm not dreamin
Zombie's on the lawn
HEY ......Eat My Brain
V2
I am the wolf
I am the zombie too
The darkest fear
That lives inside of you
A rotting curse
On a dead mans lips
The pool of blood
That stains your finger tips
MID
Halloween is just a time of year
But it brings with it a night of fear
When the sleeper dreams like a rotting corpse
And monsters roam in the minds of the chosen ones
V3
Vampire dreams
Is all I seem to have
I'm made of parts
Assembled on a slab
And banshee's screams
They come from everywhere
I open doors
But there's no one there

Zombie's on the lawn
HEY ......Eat My Brain
This is one of the best couplets in the history of lyric writing. I love the backup vocals on the right side, always seems to catch my ear when she does that line. I cannot believe that the scream wasn't a synth.

I've just noticed the new version of the song with additional vocals, and I must say, they add an extra dimension of insanity :D
Is there a story behind "Crazy" Carol Sue's involvement with the song?

Hi Mark
Yes ..I composed the track after Mike asked if I was doing anything for the Halloween radio show over at IMW where we are both members...I noticed Carol over there asking if she could collab on any tracks so I invited her along once the track was just about complete ...I think she has added a ghoulish wacky twist that works really well...glad you like it >:D
