I cannot help but my songs tend to get epic, folks. ;D
So this is another one of em with big orchestration thanks to bill (Bill Heinowski)
This one is also partially co-written with Benny, who helped me finding the right chords for the Chorus.
Benny also had and has a tremendous influence on my singing and phrasing and how to use it while developping a vocal line!
Again Robert DePriest ld57 found the right words for my melody.
Thanks a lot for helping finding the right mix, guys!

For mastering I just inserted a limiter :)

Heres the staff:

Henry Mittnacht (docmidnite): Guitars, Lead and bu-vocals, Oboe, ezdrummer, Mix, Master
Mike (musobass): Bassguitar
Bill Heinowski (bill): Orchstration

Lonely Eyes

(c) 2011; Music: Mittnacht/Moore; Lyrics: Robert DePriest (ld57)

A thousand times I'd say the way I felt for you.
You never told me so.
Even though you knew that I was waiting for the day you'd finally let me know.

Wasted time,
Wasted love, where can I go to get it back?
I search of something only poets ever see.
I'm through with that.

I know love is a fable,
And I think that I'm finally able.
I'd rather see the world through lonely eyes.
And I won't waste a minute.
I'll pull the plug, yeah, I'll end it.
I'd rather be alone and only
See the world through lonely,

A million times you swore you'd change your ways for me.
I waited for that day.
The things you did, they spoke so loud, I couldn't even hear the words you'd say.

Really nice ballad.  You're on vox too?  Bit of a renaissance man, eh?  :)

This sounds GREAT Henry!! 8) 8)
And I can definitely hear those "Benny" influences in your singing, which of course is a good thing. From one lyricist to another, all I can tell Robert is that I wish it was me who wrote this beautiful story. The music itself is top-notch, which isn't surprising considering the musicians on board. Gonna go back for another listen, this time with headphones on, so I can be even more impressed. :) :)

Great song Doc, excellent production and your best vocal to date! You and Bill really did a nice job on the instrumentation and orchestration. :)

I appreciate the credit, but you already had the great melody, all I did was suggest a chord or two. So it is not necessary to list me co-writer (unless you sell a few million downloads!) ;)  But, I was glad I was able to help you get this where you wanted it.

OH MY GOD!!  HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS SONG?!!  Doc, Bill is 1000% right, this song is done -- anything more and you seriously risk overpainting the picture.

Everyone on this is fabulous but I have to say your vocals are beyond excellent on this.  Your delivery, timing and phrasing is marvellous and the harmonies/backing sublime.

If there's any justice this song should be a massive hit single and earn you the fortune you deserve.

Gott im Himmel!! You almost had me in tears damn you!  Whatever would the neighbours think?
