Title: BFD Drums as Audio
Post by: BBDog on May 25, 2011, 12:06:41 PM
Does anyone know how to get BFD Drums to record as an audio track. I can get it to record a MIDI track & make that play as a VST instrument. The trouble is when it records as an export to audio mixdown, it just records the snare on it's own, no matter how many MIDI tracks I give it?
I am using Cubase LE, although I do have SX & 5 as well

Your help would be appreciated!!

Cheers, BB Dog :-[

Hi bro,

My intuitive guess (I use Cubase 5) would be to solo the bfd drum track and export to audio having set the right and left markers wide enough to catch your drum take (including any reverb tail). :)

Hope it helps :) :)

I also think there is an option in BFD to export the audio but I have never used it :-[ :-[

Having said that, I didn't fully read your post sorry bro :-[ :-[

Do you hear the complete drum track when you solo it?

You probably need to select the stereo out channels option in the export to audio page :) :)

Thanks for the reply. I will give that a try, not sure if I already have, but I will try again anyway. If it works for you in Cubase 5, then maybe I should use that. The main reason for using Cubase LE is that it is light on resources & simpler to use.

Cheers BB Dog :)
