I wrote English lyrics for a cover song we did to a Romanian pop song called Ramai Cu Mine by Andra. It was televised on National TV in Romania during a pop festival in late September, however, my collaborator never placed :'(. However, the originators of the music loved our version and are suppose to be giving us permission to use their cover song on a CD we are putting together - I guess that's cool!!
Here's the Final version. If you only listen to one part, you have to listen to the final two chorus' at the end of the song. I get shivers with her high notes. She has a very strong accent!!

Here is a youtube link for you to listen to one of my songs. This is Victoria Linskaya and Andrew Konstur of Moscow, Russia, in August of 2008. Victoria sang one of my pop lyrics at the 2008 Golden Stag International Pop Festival in Brasnov, Romania. It was televised live on Romania's largest national television network, Televiziunea Romana. The song is "Won't You Be Mine" and I wrote new English lyrics to this cover song by Romanian Pop Star Andra and her song "Ramai Cu Mine", which means Stay with me. The Romanian composer, Adrian Romescu, loved our version and will be giving us permission to use it on a pop album we are producing.
Victoria will be singing "Won't You Be Mine" at Martisor, an upcoming musical festival in the Republic of Moldova on March 7-10, 2009.

That's so cool Casia! Your lyrics are great and go really well with the song. I hope she gets the album done soon so she can take full advantage of the TV exposure. Not many artists get that kind of opportunity!

I'm actually at a loss why the big guns and their labels aren't all over these people as I write this, as they have the whole package to explode that market...she's a star! :). If I were you,(Sir) Branson (owner of Virgin records/empire/space travel company/airlines..that guy that flies around in those baloons) is in town now for the next day or so..I'd personally slap that vid in his hands (think he's at the Westin I believe)..go..go go.! ;D

Eurovision - yeah that's her dream, she'd love that. However, the country is very political and it's WHO you know not how good you are. She's not even allowed to register :'( :'( and the next event is even in Russia.
Oh hubby doesn't know ... there's no money involved (she didn't place). Most of the winners were all from Romania - I wonder why????? Canada had a group there but they pulled out at the last minute. There were no U.S. contestants there, mostly European and South Americans. She's just been invited to a festival in Brasnov and she's decided to sing this song for that one as well.
She wants me come and hang out with her and be on stage. Do you think I could get away ;D ;D ;D. What would I wear, I gave away all my sexy clothes when I got married ;D ;D
