here's one from my young friend Austin.
this has been laying dormant for a while.
so i decided to finally finish the mix as is.

Austin Cornette - music, lyrics, guitar
Mick Lovering - bass
Tricia Dovidio - vocals, melody
Smurf - drum programming
Mark Shrider - mix, additional programming

although, i think i uploaded the wrong file.
i had three different mixes andni think this was number two.
I'll have to check when i get home in the morning.

Nice on gang. I agree, Tricia is the star of this one. Great melody line too. The Japanese sounding middle part took me by surprise.

I liked the acoustic guitar.

Mark, do you think the snare could have been beefed up a bit?

as for that snare sound...
i think it originally was beefier but i asked smurf for sound similar to No Excuses by Alice In Chains.
i suppose it could have been a little beefier but i think it fit the style of the song pretty well.
the second mix i think is a little better with the drums not so intrusive, a little more guitar & bass too.
