Another old chestnut...jointly written with an old bandmate....SmithC.
It was nice to have the talents of the following collaborators on this one:
Bill and Doc on great sounding guitars,
Marcel on the pounding drums and lastly but by means in the least
Jay (HDA) worked out all the production details while providing the super vocals, and a lovely assortment of keys. The song was a tricky one to mix, but Jay pulled it off!!
So here it is, even though it may taken some time to see daylight :).
Andy
Justify (SmithC/Andy Gupta/Jay Lamothe, (c) 2002,2014)
bpm=168
Intro: Ax3 F#m (detuned 2 semi-tones down)
Verse:
Who will justify
Who will testify
To the love that I can give to you
A love thats so true
You've got things to do
Finding ways to make me blue
You dont want to say those words to me
WHy cant you see
Chorus:
I love you more than you realize
I love you more than I can show
I love you so much you dont know
I tell you you're the only one
And Im never going to leave
The one who complements your soul
And Im always going to be

Who will quantify
Who will testify
To the love that I can give to you
If you'd let me through

Wow,.. thanks Mark,.. I almost threw in the mixing towel 10 times on this. Even when I was done I still wasn't satified. I didn't want to let Andy down so I kept at it.
Glad it turned out ok.

Keep the 'Chestnuts' coming Andy.
This song has some real 'poke'. Very 'American' in it's style.
Well produced and well performed and with a line up like that....it should be.
Rock on, guys!
