An original song from Mark. The lyrical content has never been more relevant, given the current world wide situation, and I will leave it at that.
Mark sang this beautifully with sincerity and feeling
Riggo supplied the rich acoustic guitar part
Robert helped with the lyric
Steve drummed this up with well placed accents and flourishes
Paulo enhanced the arrangement with added keys and provided the excellent mix/master
Joao (an old mate of Paulo's) provided the poignant guitar solo.
Depleted (Fletcher/DePriest/Wilkerson/Gupta) bpm= 132,
Verse 1:
E
The end of all we knew.
A E
That someday, the fading of the light, child.
E
We search for something new.
A E
A new day, it's gonna be all right, child.
Chorus:
C#m A E B
But everything's depleted now, again.
C#m A E B
This world of ours depleted now, depleted now.
C#m A E B
The tale of Man, completed now, again.
C#m A E B
Everything's depleted now, depleted now.
Verse 2:
E
We search for fertile fields.
A E
They are out there where the stars are bright, child.
E
The seed of man will heal.
A E
And we will fly there at the speed of light, child.
Chorus:
'Cause everything's depleted now, again.
This world of ours depleted now, depleted now.
The tale of Man, completed now, again.
Everything's depleted now, depleted now.
Depleted now, depleted now.
Bridge:
A B C#m
And we're having a perilous time in here.
A B C#m
And we're having a perilous time in here.
Solo:
Same chords as verse (E A E x2) then
C#m E C#m E C#m B A C#m
Bridge:
A B C#m
And we're living in perilous times in here.
A B C#m
And we're living in perilous times.
Chorus:
'Cause everything's depleted now.
This world of ours depleted now, depleted now.
The tale of Man, completed now, again.
Everything's depleted now, depleted now.
Depleted now, depleted now.

What a good song. Great performances from everyone.
This song sounds strangely familiar and yet new ;D
I've been loving what I've heard so far from this, Anthems of Eon camp, song so far, and this is no exception.
Steve.
