Title: Childhood Friend - Final
Post by: Billy on August 23, 2007, 04:30:11 AM
I don't think I can add any more to this so I'll call it finished. Thanks to PVD for his lyrical prose.

Childhood Friend

Lyrics - PVD
Music, vocals & mix - Aidan

There's a wind that blows
It doesn't touch us all
There's two friends walking by
As I recall
There's a whisper softly heard
But not by all
There's two friends talking and laughing
Oh, don't you recall?
Two friends to this day and forever

There's a love that's heart felt
Through the years it stays
There's two friends falling
As I recall
There are memories treasured by us
Later to recall
There's two friends Laughing and joking
Oh, don't you recall?
We shared those days
Wonderful times we had my friend

Aidan,

I always liked this song. It was out of my vocal range but I think it sounds great with your voice. I think you always sing your own material with greater emotion. Nice job! PVD, nice job on the lyrics. They fit the muscic very well.

Congrats
AJ

Very nice. Has a touch of Steely Dan. Must be the voice.  8)

Nay (Angel Nay) did her own version (in Portuguese) which is better. I think she called it 'Amigas'.

"I don't think I can add any more to this so I'll call it finished." What else COULD you add to it? Very nice, touching song! Thanks for letting me try to sing it, but your vocals are perfect for this song.
