Where do I start  :D

I wrote this at the end of March, posted up an acoustic version on April 1st ( no joke ) and here we are with a fully fledged song all finished.

It was one of those songs that just flowed out like a stream of conciousness , I only spent about half an hour figuring out the chords and lyrics, I wish all songs came so easily.

When I posted it , I had no idea that Pat ( Rattlehead ) was a mind reader.  Sometimes you get good auditions that are different to your ideas, sometimes you get auditions that don't fit...but Pat totally nailed the main guitars and even better than I'd heard them in my own head  :) , and without that I don't think it would have turned out half as well as it did..it really made me think it was a cool song to carry on with ... Thanks Pat !

Marc laid down a great bass, then Robert's drums really added an extra dimension, as did Steve's Bv's and extra Guitars.

Now the keys....I had to fight really hard to get those ! ...I think I Pm'd everyone whose an ivory tinker and they all thought it sounded full and could really come up with anything....until Lindy came along...another mind reader...he really nailed his parts too.  I'm lucky.  I knew it could be done, you just gotta have faith.

Now I guess the song is about faith and destiny, and making your own destiny...it's also a bit of Romeo & Juliet type love story...

This song was a nice departure from my heavier side guys and it always makes me smile, there's something so happy about it :) :)

I love it.  Great job everybody!  I was playing one of the unfinished tracks the other day and my 8yr old daught and 4yr old son were singing along after a while too!  Great tune!  My wife really likes it too!

Nice job gang. Very pop. Nice upbeat tempo. I love the signature guitar riff.

Welcome Back Robert !

It all came out good  :)  I went through it late on in the mix and drew little automation fades in to bring out your drum fills, they made a real difference.

Very bright sounding mix and you hear the bass drum thump very well.

i liked the melody right off the bat and those piano and guitar fills work well.
This is fantastic  8) Yeah those drum fills really pan out well. Great mix. Modern sounding mix.
In fact i think the song sounds modern. I love the lead guitar work. The keys are impressive and the srings are well balanced. Love those drum cymbals and the guitar riffs. Bass is played well and helps the track.
You guys really made it happen in this song.

Hi CD, it's not my music I used to listen to....but you've put in some work in this....lovely sound and well played...perhaps the vox should be a slight higher i the chorus on some  words...otherwise no nits...gives me lots of late -70vibes, great feel and great
collaboration....it's good to see so many good musicians here...real nice / karl

It's a very full sound and although not strictly needed the keys work really well as an alternative against the guitar melody riff .....very nice..... good call IMHO.......
