It must be the difference in musical heritage both sides of the pond, but I'd never heard of Funk 49 or the James Gang until I looked them up as a result of your post. Cool stuff indeed, I'll download some and put it on the gramaphone for a good listen.

James Gang Rides Again is a great album. Been listening heavy rotation. Joe Walsh was playing some cool stuff.
I always liked a drum/percussion type bridge.

I think the break in the middle is impressive and all the instruments seem to have the right tone.
There is a nice vibe to this tune. And some well worked out bits and pieces in here. Music wise
100% on the money. And the part where the vocal is FX'D. Really cool. This rocks!
The lyrics are well written. Seems sort of short lyric wise like there could have been more but anyways the music carries in this type of tune. Very impressive playing in here.
Enjoyed listening and was never bored.

Thanks a bunch guys. Yeah, I do understand how there's little for lyric in this...started out as a 3 minute compact song with 2 leads/originally was tossed on the cutting room floor when initially written, found it on an old casette tape laying around and approached the guys with it...but then we had so much fun jamming on, we basically threw caution in the wind and extended it like crazy so everyone could get a little solo in...I think the intention was just to have a fun little jam tune the guys in the "band" would like only, actually never, in wildest dreams, thought it would turn into something remotely listenable to others ;D Took alot of figeting around...2nd longest thread in MSC history I believe..and it's still going on there! ;D

All those solos remind me of the "Break with Protocol" tune... These days, people usually don't like solos in the songs but I do.
