Walking The Line
LMK 2006
He left her all alone, he's never coming home
and now she wants you for eternity
You're in a different zone, the need to be alone
this ain't no time for changes, can't you see
Chorus:
And though she's wanting you so bad, it ain't enough to drive you mad
when she's lying, lying in your arms
You only want to understand, you want to lend a helping hand
and you're walking, walking the line, walking the line
A desperate attempt to earn the love she spent
now you're the next contender, that you see
She drags you down to earth, a lovesong in reverse
No heat and no discussion, you agree
Chorus:
And though she's wanting you so bad, it ain't enough to drive you mad
when she's lying, lying in your arms
You only want to understand, you want to lend a helping hand
and you're walking, walking the line, walking the line
Bridge:
Going through the motions, feeling like her safetynet
There's no emotion but your presence is needed
Your wheels in motion are heading for regret
you've done her no favours yet
I called her on the phone, now here we are alone
It's been a while but now I see her shine
And knowing how you feel, a love that wasn't real
can take it's final bow and ease your mind
(chorus)

Ewww soundclick (just kidding, but man I HATE that site). You can attach files to the threads here btw ;)
Who worked on this one?

LMK,
Good tune! I think the Bass Shiz offered up was just the ticket to round this song out.
In the finished...people like reading who worked on the tune and lyrics.
Nice job guys!

I was going through my old files and saw this one was posted in Final Works. Gerk, I know Brina and I worked on background vocals. I don't know if anyone else worked on this via MC. Anyone?

I have no idea at all ... I was just a commenter complaining about soundclick :)
