Yaaaa.... Finally!! That was a lot of fun guys.  8) This song really came out great. We had a huge response while making it and I've never seen so much action in one thread. Probably the most exciting song I've had the pleasure to work on. Thanks to everyone who auditioned and commented as it went along. It became one of the largest threads by replies so I guess we were all having fun. I would like to do the other vocal tracks with Tricia and Holger next. Part 2 to come.  ;)

Not much more to say other than THANKS!! for making this a really cool song. You guys rock!! Cheers !!!  8)

I am thrilled, I love it too.  I have listened to it a million times, I'm sure, and I'm still not sick of it.  Thank you everyone for your hard work and your talent and the great fun  :)!  I guess we all have our demons to deal with  :-[.

Special thanks to Dave for seeing potenial in my lyric and having the ability to "read my mind" and create a tune that was very close to what I envisioned.  I loved it from the first draft  >:D.  I think I'll go listen again.

This turned out so wonderful.. what a kick ass song from the lyrics to the music developed around them, I could not help myself but to try out.  Thank You so much for allowing me to do so, and I am so happy that your pleased.  A big round of applause for all involved, such wonderfully talented musicians you all are.

I am especially excited to hear the mixes with Holger and that sweetie Tricia.  Isn't it fun to get so many different ideas Dave?!  I think that's what makes collaborating so much fun we all "hear" something different...

I am so blessed to still be a part of the team here at MC... thanks for accepting me and letting me "play" along!  I look forward to more fun in the future!

This song was a good example of how everyone pulled together and had a blast doing it. I had many a laugh putting the song together. Mind you we had a couple of crazy ladies working with us. Not naming any names.  ::) And CD got a new nickname out of it. Dark Dolphin!!  ;D

Thanks Aidan... Those Piano licks were the easier part, the worse was the rest having in mind not to go on top of each other toes. Jesus Christ, a keyboradist suffers a lot on the rock music. I'm thinking of making Rap 'cause it's all keyboards done with one only finger.

I think that my vocals are not good enough for a final mix down. People on another board told me so and I tend to believe it. They said that the verses are quite good but the choruses sounds bad. Hmm,  :-\,  let me try it again. But that will take time until the end of november  :-[
I think I need more opinions. I'm not sure if I really could do it better. Also, there are a few parts a bit out of tune in my first try.
Let me know what you think.

First of all, it was a blast gang, let's do it again some time..lots of laughs, turned out beautifully as a bonus! :)

CD, listened to the new mix. Obviously a much higher output to it...does sound a little "boomy" on my system though compared to the other...lows sound a little exagerated possibly? I'll have to do some A/B's with some well recorded commercial CD's to give a more honest opinion though..

WOW!  Surprise.  I entered Dark Demons in October's Ourstage contest in "ROCK".  A few days ago it was like No. 200+.  Today it is No. 9 out of 729 entries.  There are still three weeks to go so anything can happen.

I know it isn't easy to vote because you have to listen to a lot of songs, but if you have some time before the end of the month, go vote..

You were so excited you posted it 3 times!!  ;D Doesn't suprise me. It's a good song. It's hard to vote on that site. You have to listen to a lot of music to get to it. I'll try.  ;) As far as I'm concerned any song that comes out of this place is #1 anyways. Why? Because everyone here puts their heart & soul into making the music. Can beat that. #9's not bad though. It's hard to move up on the Rock charts. That's a tough category. Not bad!!  8)

Wow...#9 on that site is a near miracle...have to remember most there are established full time bands with huge fan bases, and every single aunt and uncle and cousin voting as well. Jessica has done well there in the past, that's the key factor in it blipping up that high..at least until the aunt and uncle votes for the others start kicking in! ;D

Yep, it can go anywhere now.  I have actually a few up in different categories, and it's the same thing, Up and Down!!!
For me personally, it is just nice to have people listening to what you do.  It has taken me a very long time to realize you can't win everything (in my case anything ha ha ha)  But every thing I do is exposure and experience.  As you all know I am trying to do something with my voice whether session singer or live... so every little bit of everything helps mold me.

The reason the song does do so well is because of the musicians on it.  You guys.. I am going to be very honest.  When I listen to this song, I get chills.. and its not because of my vocals either.  It is everything, the music, the wonderful words, it all works!  It has some wonderful transitions and feelings and sounds that I think you don't always hear people do nowadays!

We all should pat ourselves on the back because we deserve it!!!

Ok.. i'm done.. but now you know how I feel!!!!! :D

An indie film producer is interested in using this song in a series called "Return To Wonderland".  They are just in pre-production with tentative plans to begin filming in Febraury 2012 so it may be awhile but just thought I'd let you guys know and I'll keep you informed.  No money, just promotion but could lead to song sales.  You will all be credited in the credits.  The script is in place, the rest of the team is being put together.  She mentioned the requirement for a composer to score the film too if anyone is interested I'll pass your name along.


This film details the story of a young lady who has been admitted to an insane asylum. Many of the story elements of the original Alice's Adventures in Wonderland will be evident in the movie.

Basic storyline: Young Alice is admitted to a insane asylum, because of hallucinations she suffers from. As an adult she escapes from the asylum, but doesn't understand the real world and thinks she is in Wonderland where her task is to kill the Queen of Hearts and raise Lily, the daughter of the White Queen, as ruler of Wonderland.
