Might as well sneak one more into the pot.  >:D Turned out to be a pretty cool tune if I don't mind saying.  :) I was really on the fence with 2 leads so I'm just going to post them both. So there !!!  >:D

Thanks, Dave.  ;)  Your original bedtrack appealed to me straightaway, and Aidan's comment about Quentin Tarentino triggered the idea of "gangsters". The lyrics were heaps of fun to write. ;D

The lyrics were fun to sing and though it seemed wordy in the beginning,...everything seemed to fit perfectly after a little tweaking.  Great imagery Donna.  The whole song seems to work well.

Thanks for letting me play in the sandbox Dave.  This was very very cool to be a part of.

Jay, I was amazed when you stepped in with your vocals and with a great melody already in place!
I'd thought getting a melody would be the hard part.  ;)
You did a fine job. :D   The keys are wonderful too. I love the way the organ builds up in the solo section.

Awesome song Dave and the rest of the gang! No matter which way you go, this is a sweet tune.
I feel like I am watching a gangster movie!!! I feel it!! Way to catch the feel Dave! Way to describe it Donna! I gotta look behind me every few seconds. Rym section is second to none!! Love the bass tone!
Great vox!! Keys are killing me!

Hi Everyone,

This tune turned out great.

Nice swampy bluesy-rock feeling to this - suits the dark lyrics to a T!

Great playing by the band and super singing by Jay..

Great stuff - nice mix too.

Thanks AJ  :) Can't tell you what my influences are. Sort of runs the gambit from 70's to modern Alt Rock to Country to Funk to Blues to... everything.

Definately Reservoir Dogs visions I'm getting here Mr. Pink..... 8)

Great song guys from the funny yet dark lyrics (fine vocal) to the solid foot tapping music. Great guitars all round including Dave's tasty rhythm chops. The mix was just so perfect. Congratulations all involved.
