This track has been a hell of a lot of fun and I hope you all like it. Billy laid down one his brilliant bed tracks which suited my daft lyrics perfectly but everyone has played key roles in producing this track.Andy played great bass has really kept me on my toes with the mixing, J provided some brilliant keys (the spin section works just right) and sound fx. Cas dressed up in her best nurses outfit and we actually have her recorded as the manic nurse in the intro and outro...... well done everyone ... on to the next

Absolutely LOVE this guys! :D :D :D This has gotta be about the most original sounding I've heard in a decade...the only comparison would be the B52's on LSD or something like that...brilliant! :) The amount production tweaks, inserts and stuff are awesome...a real work of audio/multirack art..great stuff guys! :)

Thanks for the compliment! Im sure someone let the Nitrous Oxide tank pff when Stoney was at the dentists - he hasnt quite been the same since - well nor has Dr Desmond. Its all a laugh:)

I think the kicker is the intro...it just sucks you right into the whole thing...you hear the dialogue, and you're going "what the %$#$ is this?" then your attention is immediately focused on it..brilliant! :) I can just see this in a cool video..get a gazillion youtube hits...as you know, its the "stupid" songs that will get your gig into the stratosphere...sure weird Al can attest to that! ;D

That's a good question. I haven't had any time to check out the site in detail. Some of these websites are rather complicated and you just can't pop in and know what's going on. I sent them an e-mail last week and asked if they would be interested in airing this song. I guess they liked it!
Once exams are over, I hope to get more involved in internet radio. There are lots of opportunities for us to do our own shows as well. We should pick some of our finished songs and somebody record a 20 minute show. Do we have any wannabe DJs here?? It's an interesting way to promote a CD. You can even do a show of all your own songs/albums.
I think "Andy" or "Stoney" could do this. I think we have enough songs even between the three of us to do a few shows. I have approximately 90 minutes worth of music posted on one website. I don't know enough about music in general to talk a bit about a song before it is aired. Name the people involved and what part of the world they are from, talk about internet collaborating and any funny thing we can find in the posts that happened during creation in our virtual studio haha, the style of music, the inspiration, whatever and then play it. We could all then stream this little radio show onto all our websites (myspace, facebook, as many of my 30 promo sites as allows). Also, there are a number of internet radio sites that are always looking for show segments especially for unsigned artists. I'll do the promo end of it and get it streamed on those sites.
What do you think. I don't think it would take as much work as you think once we get the first one done. It's just a matter of playing the songs and adding your spoken part between each song. As well, could do mini interview based on a few songs being played. Stoney could ask Andy about the song so it seems more "live".....let's do it...let's try a demo guys.

I've listened to so much Stonehinged in the past few weeks, it's getting kind of crazy.
Of course, I'm choosing one of the nuttier tunes to comment on this week, instead of one of your more serious high-brow oeuvres.
You guys are on to something....I wouldn't be surprised if your CD gets some good recognition.
Do you have any tips on how to suppress the urge to cringe when the drills are going? I know where they are, when they're coming, what they sound like. They don't surprise me any more and yet I still tense up every single time. And I keep coming back for it again and again. :)
