Here is a rock number with a bit of a George Orwell/"1984" theme. I wrote this one as the introductory music for a guy I know that has a radio show.
Big thanks to DocMidnight for his many oustanding guitar parts. Also, thanks to CosmicDolphin for tips on the final mix.
Hope you enjoy it. :)
Benny
Benny Moore - vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, mixing
Henry (Doc) Mittnacht - lead and rhythm guitars
NOTHING'S WHAT IT SEEMS
(Benny Moore)
(Verse 1)
The unconcerned fool that you are, you better wake up and see
The shadowy kings of the earth, they'll take away your pride and your dignity
Steal every dime you have
And leave you holding the bag
(Chorus)
Something's going on
You know it's not the way it's supposed to be
There's something very wrong
This nightmare that you're living's really not a dream
Nothing's what it seems
(Verse 2)
Right is wrong, good is bad; reality is redefined
Baby can't you figure it out - the "Ministry of Truth" is messing with your mind
They sent you to the government schools
Where they taught you not to break the rules
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
The mighty people that once had it all
Now they've got our backs against the wall
Make us beg; make us crawl
While the world cheers our meteoric fall
(Verse 3)
They closed the banks today; gotta turn your brother and your money in
Went by the church today; it might be the last chance to save your skin
Fought your way through the crowd
Just to see they burned it down
(Chorus)

Here is a rock number with a bit of a George Orwell/"1984" theme....
Hi Benny,
1984? ??? Really? :o
I only wish that the storyline was from sometime in the past where we could say,
"Hope we don't make the same mistake this time".
No this sounds most uncomfortably current to me.
Really good job guys.
ciao, Dan

Very Cool tune... reminds me a bit of Russ Ballard.

Thanks Dan and Paulo.
It's too bad that a lot of that "Big Brother" stuff is coming to pass.

It is one of the more interesting shows on the internet, if this stuff is your cup of tea.

Thanks for your note-
I'm delighted that you can pass my comments on, certainly, the whole band sounds great- i like all your tracks-
And Benny is really one in ten million. And I have a very scrutinizing ear-
I can't think of any other internet circulating band that in my opinion has a better quality for major success than yooz guys.
I look forward to your tracks
