We  received little interest in this song here at MCS. Maybe this finished version will change your mind.

I/we would still love to hear a female version (and/or different male versions too).

I think this sounds excellent, Steffen!
Gorgeous music/melody, and the vocals are lovely.
I can see how the lyrics would call for female vocals as well.

Billy, I would LOVE to write music for a musical. But of course some dreams will never come true ...

Excellent work, Steffen and Darlene.  My favorite part is when the harpsichord comes in at the end.

Excellent composition Steffen, couldl also sound good with a female vocal, hope we find out soon. Very well produced arrangement and production!

You really do have a mastery over this style.

The vocals are top notch, as are the lyrics.

What a good song , really heartfelt. Piano and Vocals are great and the simple arrangement works really well.  Reminds me of songs I've seen in the West End.

I'm quite satisfied with it now, although real drums and bass would be the icing on the cake.
