Title: Sweet Sorrow (Joe K/Casia/Argle)
Post by: Argle on December 14, 2009, 10:47:24 AM: It all started with Casia's lyrics. Joe K put together a piano track and her usual amazing vocals. I did the rest of the music. It's a kind of ballad, or something.

Particularly like the chord change at the end of the chorus.

Casia,.. great lyric!!

Joe,.. fantastic vocal and perfect for the mood!

Joe's Karen Carpenter like vocal over a piano based backing with deft instrumentation really socks home!!

Good lyric - Cass - again.

Argie - is it any surprise that the mix is "just awesome"?? and a super strings arrangement too!!

I really was just playing around with how many oxymorons I could fit into one song and make them actually feel like they belong :D :D
