Recently my wife mentioned that she was a bit forgetful on where she put things and that remark gave me the idea for this tune. Two days later it was a reality.
-
I just listened to this song - and now I can't remember what I was gonna say :o
-
John, I forgot my twin brother's birthday. Then I forgot to remember the Alamo.
What song are we talking about, anyway?
-
Who's John? Are you talking to me? Who are you? ;D
-
I spent ten years developing a liquid that would dissolve anything.
I forgot that I didn't have anything to keep it in.

I'll have to refresh your memory Gene - it was at about that time that I was working on my invisible jug that would hold anything. I think I remember sending it to you, packed in an invisible box, with invisible postage. I'm sure you received it, there must have been at least one day where you looked in your mailbox and it LOOKED empty. :o
-
John, that wasn't my mailbox that LOOKED empty. It was our bank account.
"I'm from the IRS and I'm here to help you"
On another thought, how the hell did Willie Nelson manage to end up owing the IRS twelve million dollars, give or take a million or so? Did singers and actors really make that kind of money back in the Flintstone age?
-
Willie was just HIGH when he filled out his taxes - or all that money from his Farm-Aide concerts didn't make it to the farms. ;D
I attended Farm Aids #2 in Austin, Texas in the 80's - just another concert I barely remember :D
