Title: VST Connections in CUBASE AI 4
Post by: nitch on July 18, 2010, 02:57:47 PM
I am trying to record 2 separate microphones into 2 separate channels at the same time.  I've created 2 buses (1 for each channel), and I've armed each channel with the proper bus (mic 1 and mic 2).

When I hit record, each channel is picking up both microphones.  I've tried both stereo and mono settings.

I've read the manual and spent some time on YouTube, still can't get it working.

I've contacted Steinberg support, in the mean time does anyone here have experience with this?

Thanks.

Parry,
Your audio interface gotta be able to output the 2 mics in 2 different outputs and I don't think that yamaha of your is able to do such a thing.

You created stereo bus's, those should be mono bus's.

Problem solved, thanks guys.

I had to arm both tracks as bus 1 left and bus left right.  As opposed to bus 1 and bus 2.
