Write A Love Song
Casia - Lyrics (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)
Matt Kaprelian - Composition, arrangement, melody (Poughkeepsie, NY, USA)
Dean Leo - Vocals (Chicago, Illinois)
Robert Coney - Guitar (Toronto, Canada)
Raul Rodriguez Jr - Mix and other stuff (have to figure it out)
Rab Malloy - Soundmaster (West Lothian, Scotland, UK)
(V1)
There's a reason
To write a love song
It's the season
And my feelings are strong
You might catch me
Dancing the street
My head in the clouds
I've got feathers for feet
(Chorus)
It's the season Ooo Ooo
To write a love song Ooo Ooo
No matter what you
Or anyone says
I can't get enough
Of what's in my head
A love song Ooo Ooo
That's what you'll get
A love song Ooo Ooo
The best of the best
(V2)
It'll take away
All of your tears
I'll gift wrap your heart
And I'll fill it with cheer
(Bridge)
No stockings
No gold from afar
No partridge in a tree
But I'll swing from a star
No wise man
On a desert of sand
Could ever change my mind
Cause it's just as I planned
(Chorus x 2)
(Outro)
A love song
I'll write a love song
A love song
I'll write a love song for you
A love song
A love song
A love song for you

What, no comments? This song is really pretty! Again a definite 70s vibe and thus right up my alley.
I want to do songs like this too!
Regards,
Steffen

Yea! Really nice classic vibe! Great job all! ;)
-
Thanks guys ... much appreciated.

Cool...where do you find all these people Cas ;D You sure spread yourself around ;)
Quite a nice song, mix sounds a bit 'dated' but perhaps it's meant to that way. PS what is a 'Soundmaster' ....is it anything like being a Jedimaster because I want to be one if it is >:D

It's exactly like being a jedimaster, except with a mouse instead of a sword... but you still have to practise standing on one foot on top a tall pole above a flaming pool of lava and not fall off.
Soundmaster is the "word" - what decade are you living in CD ;D ;D
Where do I find these people ... they are part of the "force", can't you feel them all around you whispering "pick me" "pick me"???

You mean Lightsabre right ? ;D

Nice... Merry Christmas all.

If they give you a soundsabre when you join up, let me know. I'll want in too.
-
@CD - sword hahaha ... just checking to see if you're still drunk ;D ;D. You know I meant light sabre :D
A soundsabre - I think you've come up with a new invention for next Christmas - snap to it, get it produced.

A different one to you apparently ...It's not in any dictionary, and I've never come across it in any audio book or magazine of the zillions I've read ;D ;D
Me thinks 'tis you who are not yet sober.... :P

It seems Soundmaster is the name of an old rap artist which such esteemed records under his belt as...
1. 1997: "2 Much Booty (In Da Pants)"
2. 2006: "Grandma's Beat"
3. 2006: "Droked Out"
4. 2007: "Do It Like My Birthday"
5. 2007: "Flukey Walk"
I'm up for doing a cover of "Too Much Booty In Da Pants" if anyone else is game.

I guess someone's been leading me on ... and probably laughing at my ignorance ;D - oh well, such is life.
How can I help with 2 Much Booty In Da Pants :o :o. How about remixed Jazz version.
