A Mysterious Affair
Casia - Lyrics
Christina Britton - melody and vocals
BigD - all music and entertainment
(Intro)
I'm creeping down the stairs
To find there's no one there
The cookies and milk are gone
The stockings are hung with care
There's Christmas magic everywhere
Floating in the winter air
(V1)
Every year, the same 'ol thing
Angels get their angel wings
And there's a big surprise
Hiding underneath my tree
It's something Santa brings
Tied up with ribbon and string
(Chorus)
Inspector Clousseau
What do you think
About that panther in pink
Can you trace his tracks
Can you bring him back to me
And I'll light a fire
Hot enough for three
A mysterious affair ..if ya dare
A mysterious affair
(V2)
Next year I'll climb to the roof
With my hot cup of soup
I'll sit there for 12 nights
And if everything goes right
I'll catch that man
With the twinkling alibis
(Chorus)
Inspector Clousseau
What do you think
About that panther in pink
Can you trace his tracks
Can you bring him back to me
And I'll light a fire
Hot enough for three
A mysterious affair ..if ya dare
A mysterious affair

Wonderful work! If you go on like this, I'll run the risk of becoming a jazz fan! ;) :D

Thanks Steffen. I've only begun listening to Jazz in the last six months or so and lately I can't get enough of it. There are not many jazz players here unfortunately. Also, there are more opportunities for jazz tunes to be played in venues and as background music for various opportunities. Unfortunately, there seems to be little opportunity for rock, which I love, so I'm taking the time to diversify.
And yes, I am a new jazz fan.
