Title: I Will Find a Way
Post by: Errol on February 27, 2011, 02:58:58 PM
It's always a great pleasure to call a collaboration finished. I really want to give tremendous thanks all the guys who worked on this. Stellar job! I will post an ape file soon.  :)

Vocals: Mimmo
Rythym Guitar: Mimmo
Bass: Hazz
Organ: Swansong
Lead Guitar: Cyclone
Opening Guitar: Mimmo
Words & Music: Chesook

I will find away
And light a path to follow
Yes, I will find a way
To lead you from this sorrow

There's a shelter far beyond the mountains
There is sanctuary just across the sea
We can start afresh, so won't you come then
Come then and put your trust in me

I will find a way
To help you forget the past
Yes, I will find a way
So you can rest at last

When all is dark, my torch is here to  guide you
When you're feeling cold, I'll warm you with a fire
When you're  scared, I'll build a wall around you
Surround you with all you desire

So get your things and we will start our journey
Let's move along and cover our first mile
Look ahead and dream about tomorrow
For tomorrow, we'll smile

I will find a way
I will find a way

It was funny. I was mixing in Neil's organ track and then began thinking the beginning needed something else. Without any prompting, Mimmo's post arrived a few minutes later. Great when it works out like that. Soon after that this one got the fork in it and was ready to serve. Thanks for your help!  :)

Yeah...I thought we needed something else in there...I'm not a great guitar player, but that little part fit in good and quick. Glad I could help there.

Thanks Ian! Most of the songs I write are on the sad side. It's nice to write a positive tune for a change. The boys did a great job making it come to life. :)

Thanks, mate! I was actually going through some old songs last night, looking to re-mix a few. You played bass on several of them. I sure have appreciated all your help.  8)

Here you go Mimmo. Two versions one with louder Backing Vocals.  :) Let me know if there are any problems with these.

Catchy little song, guys. Nothing flashy just straight ahead simple song writing that is somewhat soothing to the ears.
