This is another odd and rather dark lyric with a bounce ...Kinda a Goth Dance Party Track ;D ;D
A huge thank you to Mike for his lead guitar arrangement ..Fantastic stuff and always off the wall
Lead/Ryth Guits - Mike Woodford (Snowdoguk)
Other Guits and stuff - Ian Burrage (Stonehead)
The Dark Side of Your Mind - I Burrage 2011
Intro/Brid
It's not....... My fault
It's not....... My fault
V1
Even in your happiest of times
I am with you, I still know you
A tiny voice that whispers in the night
I can't help you, I still love you
No hope and nothing to decide now
I wont leave you,I'm gonna see it through
Loose the knot on the ropes that bind you
Walk away and never look behind you
Ch
I live in the dark side of your mind
I'm distrust, doubt, hate and jelousy
It's just lust and I'm cruel to be kind
welcome to my side of sanity.
Brid
V2
Open up your eyes and you will see
I'm within you I couldn't leave you
Let me give everything you need
I'll stand bye you always beside you
I have the truth when others will decieve you
Don't fall apart we're gonna see it through
I give the strength to break the chains that hold you
Leave today take the things I told you
Ch1
Ch2
I'm made from the blackness in your mind
I'm betrayel, cold, Pain and lonelyness
It's not love and I'm cruel I'm not kind
Welcome to a broken insanity
Brid
I'm keeping the project open for a while if anyone would like to take the vocals ..It would be much appreciated

Interesting song, guys. Edgy and quirky are quite alluring to me and I'm getting a sort of Echo and the Bunnymen/ Suede thing going on here. Dark indeed.
Your vocals are fine for this, Ian but I can also hear Siouxsie doing this (ahh, those were the days).
Well done, guys.

Hey Mike
I thought you might like this review over at IMW from Bri-an
I'm a big fan of Robert Rodregez's movies and music...so starting with those notes in the intro sets one up for an interesting resolve...theatrical . Doesn't disappoint the head holes at all....love the presentation. The up-lifted soul beat really drives the quality of the breaks/voc's with astonishing effect, well done sir...
Mike Woodford's guitar work was the highlight for me///as i believe he captured the Quirky-ness of the topic...and just drove it home.
I appreciate the time you put into your creations...i hear it in the production.
Lyrically interesting and sung with a shady (dark) attitude...yer in the zone!!
It's a nice one :) :)

No problem Mike ... I thought you would like to see it :)

Another great alternative song from you Ian, as always you don'T dissapoint.
And another great guitar solo from Mike. You two make a very good team.
If you can get Hooky on bass (maybe souxie has his number, ask her when you acquire her mobile) you would make a great Joy Division-esq band. Although in parts, it could actually be Hooky playing bass.
Great song guys, loads of ideas swirling around in there.
Steve. :)

Thank you Steve those are very kind comments indeed
Cheers Ian :) :)

I love the upbeat verse. Guitars dancing all over and cool solo!

There are all sorts of bits that remind me of sdome of my 80's records. A bit of Joy Division, a splash of the Cure, a touch of Echo and the Bunnymen...part of the soundtrack to my youth ;D
Nice song guys.
