This was a really quick little project and Mike has put another stunning guitar solo together for this one ... Where does he get them from.
I had a great excuse to break out my new bass .... it even came with a spare string already attached ... very odd ::)
Anyway I hope you like it ... It's about as close to a 3 minute track as you can get ;D ;D

I like this,the Rhythm guitars remind me of that carlos alomar & earl slick sound on the bowie song fame,& the solo is "smokin" in an understated way.

For some reason, whenever Mike and Ian (mostly Ian ;D) get together, I have thoughts of the Beatles and Timothy Leary. :D :D ;D ;D
It's almost frightening to picture the inner workings of Ian's brain :o
But then again... it may look similar to mine, which resembles a hamster on a treadmill. ;) ;D

You are very kind about my bass playing ...; an ego boost indeed for an old tub thumper ;D ;D
I had to retire my old faithful Westone Concord from recording duties which has started to develop a slight neck twist and after doing a bit of reading and some pennies for my Birthday I went for the Yamaha BB615 with active electrics and I have to say it feels great ... The action is a little high out of the box but the range of tones is impressive.

That's cool Andy I really like the life in the active eq on the Yamaha's... It might be the nice new RW strings too :)

I downloaded the mp3. I'm downloading it again now ...
... still nothing on the right channel here. All other mp3 files play ok.

Just examined it. It's a mono file!

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....... I have just been listening to it and I didn't pick that up at all .... I had been messing with the channels on mix down and exported stereo to mono ..... I will replace it tomorrow but in actual fact in a way I'm really pleased with how good it still sounds in mono .... Doh!!!!!

Indeed, Ian, it does sound good in mono.
I have just been listening to a couple of old (1968 - 1970) Italian songs from the Sanremo festival, and the sound fit perfectly with the other songs.
I would not have noticed anything wrong at all if the player wouldn't play mono files on one speaker only. :D
