Harry Doesn't Mind (Corner Pocket Blues)
(c)2011 Tricia Dovidio

It's 5 o'clock on a Sunday
and I'm in a music mood
it's 5 o'clock on a Sunday
and I know what to do
I'm heading down to Plaistow
get me some Corner pocket blues

you'll find the best drummers
to make you right on time
all the friendly drummers
keep us all in line
those corner pocket drummers
will show us a good time

chorus:
And Harry doesn't mind
if you play your songs
he'll round up all the guitars
make them play along
some corner pocket blues
will put you in the mood
you can't go wrong

check the cool bass players
they're in the groove
all the cool bass players
make your body move
they're holding down the low end
it's what they do

see the pretty sisters
they're on the floor tonight
pretty pretty sisters
are dancing alright
they might drag you up there
don't you put up a fight

chorus:
And Barry doesn't mind
if you play your songs
he'll round up all the guitars
make them play along
some corner pocket blues
will put you in the mood
you can't go wrong

solos:

It's 5 o'clock on a Sunday
and I'm in a music mood
it's 5 o'clock on a Sunday
and I know what to do
I'm heading down to Plaistow
get me some Corner pocket blues

chorus:
And Harry doesn't mind
if you play your songs
he'll round up all the guitars
make them play along
some corner pocket blues
will put you in the mood...

tag:
we're diggin all the leads
and the lady on the keys....

we're singing from the soul
we're lovin' rock'n'roll...

we can't go wrong.
we can't go wrong

The wav file is in studio A for a few days if you want it. I can't compress from this computor.

Geez Tricia. You tackle them all. Good job. The vocals could have come forward more. A bit buried in there. Good tune though guys.  :)
