THE WONDERFUL CLIRMA ON VOCALS & MELODY, PAUL (PVD) IS THE MASTERFUL LYRICIST & I JUST FIDDLED AROUND, CHEERS BOYS. HERE IS A WAV & AN WMA
-
Hey, nice job! Simple idea but very effective. Reminded me a lot of The Doors and I could imagine this as a backing track for a Vietnam war movie. Great lyrics, vocals and the guitar work is mesmerizing. Loved it :)
Mick.

Sounds cool! 8)
Maybe Paul will post the lyrics here? ??? :)

Interesting piece of music. Good job guys. The vocals fit really well. :)
The lyrics should be posted though. They're just as important as the music. ;)

Break My Fall
(v1)
With each footstep it gets darker
With each heartbeat I get older
Without you I'm nowhere
(v2)
Reaching with all my might
Reaching for you every night
Without you it's a nightmare
(chorus)
Memories, memories
That are growing thin
The pain is too strong
From deep within
Holding onto you
Would solve it all
Save our love
Break my fall
Oh, please break my fall
(v3)
Remember when we were one
Intertwined before the night was done
Waiting for the sun to rise
(v4)
Everything was vibrant and clear
All the shadows disappeared
We saw with one set of eyes
(chorus)

Hey, copied & pasted Pauls words, Its great to have another singer on the site, I hope we get to hear a lot more of the man
-
This is the lyric as C sang it:
(v1)
With each footstep it gets darker
With each heartbeat I get older
Without you I'm nowhere
(v2)
Reaching with all my might
Reaching for you every night
Without you it's a nightmare (it's a nightmare)
(chorus)
Memories
That are growing thin
The pain is too strong
From deep within
Holding onto you
Would solve it all
Save our love
And break my fall
Break my fall
(v3)
Remember when we were one
Intertwined before the night was done
Waiting for the sun to rise
(v4)
Everything was vibrant and clear
All the shadows disappeared
We saw with one set of eyes
(chorus) (spoken)
Memories, memories
That are growing thin
The pain is too strong
From deep within
Holding onto you
Would solve it all
Save our love
Please break my fall
(repeat v1)
(repeat v2)
(chorus)

Ralph & C:
Really like this, C did a great job on creating the pain and mystery with his delivery. Tks for allowing me to be involved.
