hi guys i would like to thank all involved in the remaking of this song,this is a song i had sitting around for a while and its my first finished project ever on any site and was made possible with the help of Andy ,Paulo , and Mick. ;) ;)
 ;).....we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. i have lurnt so much in such a small amount of time on this site.

Congratulations Griffo mate on your first completed collab!!

This song turned out great with super contributions from you (lovely melody and vocals), Paulo (great arrangement and instrumentation) and Mick (blinding solo)!! So glad to be a part of this.

... Bill... The first instrument I learned was guitar, keyboards came later when alll the guitar players where much better than me  ;D... Besides that, my older brother is an excelente guitarist and he invited me to his band when I was really young... I thought - "Gee, I'm doing nothing in this band, playing some rhythm chords and my brothers plays really cool solos!!!"

Never learned much, to be honest but I can do simple strumming, and lill thingies  >:D

Surely it's a real Ovation acoustic iron strings guitar with built in pick ups, a blue one really old, bought in about 1988.

Surely it's a real Ovation acoustic iron strings guitar with built in pick ups, a blue one really old, bought in about 1988.

They must have used that model to sample then , it sounds identical.  :o

Yeh, the sound is the same kind of guitar... But the video has a way of playing very different... there's always a hard strike on the first bar.

There's lots of different strum patterns in the software, I used to have it at one time.

What a great tune guys. Very nice vocals!!  Sounds really great. 8) Nice work on this Paulo but I didn't know you were taking away our job of playing guitar?  ;D Nice acoustic tone. Sounds like an Ovation to me.  Andy & Mick did a real fine job on the guitars and bass. Nice bass groove and love the guitar solo. Hope you can sing more Griffo. Would be glad to do one with ya!  :)

Just did another mix, I think it's more transparent, not sure.

I used paralell compression on the drums and it sounds good.

Just listened to this on pc headphones at work, but it sounds good. I think I like this one better. But I need to listen to this properly once I get home.

Hey Paulo,

The drums do sound good indeed :) - nicely integrated in the mix and meshing with the bass.

For overall sound balance - Just wondering whether you'd have to very slightly increase the lead vocal, the guitar solo, your outro keys solo and very very very slightly the bass and the backing vocal.

Hi Andy, I was just trying the paralell compression on the drums, we have an original master and I'll leave it the way it is... Next time I'll mix something I'll use this new technich (New to me), lol
