Title: I'm A Jeannie (In A Bottle) - Jazz
Post by: Casia - lyricist on January 13, 2012, 07:50:32 PM
I'm a Jeannie In A Bottle

Casia - Lyrics
Nicola - Composition/guitars
Alice - Vocals
Raul - Drums
Tim - Sax

(V1)
I'm a jeannie in a bottle
And I'm looking for love
I'll fly on my carpet
Through the skies above

I'm a jeannie in a bottle
Time to make a wish
Time to reach out
And grab me a kiss

I'm a jeannie in a bottle
I'm Looking for love
On a carpet in the sky
Will you be my guide

(Chorus)
I'm a jeannie
I'm a jeannie
I'm a jeannie in a bottle
I'm a jeannie
I'm a jeannie
I'm a jeannie won't you follow

(V2)
I have myself three wishes
I know they'll come true
Close my eyes, nod my head
Baby, think of you

When I open up my eyes
I'll see you standing here
With a smile upon your face
You'll never disappear

I'm a jeannie in a bottle
And I'm Looking for love
On a carpet in the sky
Will you be my guide

(Chorus)
I'm a jeannie
I'm a jeannie
I'm a jeannie in a bottle

Thank you kindly Paul.  I'm pretty happy with the final result.  The singer is from Indonesia I believe so I was concerned with the accent at first but it has cleaned up rather nicely.

Casia :)

Thanks Stoney ... a very "simple" lyric but it I'm pleased.
