I remixed this folk song yesterday after work and mastered it today.
Lyrics & Vocals: Todd Swain
Guitar: Paul D. May
Fiddle: Mara Shea
Accordion: Andreas Diewald
Composed, arranged & mixed by Steffen Offermann
I forgot the name of the guy who did the accordion part. He was at my home to record it, but since then he has moved out of town, and we lost contact. Edit: I found the name in the deep dark dungeons of my disoriented mind. :D
Where is Todd these days?
Regards,
Steffen

Thanks, my friend - at least one listener! Glad you like the song. :)
I'd love to do more stuff like that.

very nice Steffen! Great vocals and performances and your mix sounds excellent.
Another proof for your great musical talent.

And thanks to you, Holger, my friend - always kind and generous with compliments. :)
The real musicians were the ones who made this song what it is.

I clicked on this one because on the front page of MCs, when it scrolled up the screen all I could see was 'I blew my Lover'...YMMV depending on screen size I guess :P
Interesting seaside type sound to this, I could almost smell the candy floss. Nice to hear something quite traditional sounding & folksy. Has an authentic feel to it.
I don't know what the old mix was like but this one sounds good.

Thanks a lot, Mark! I'll see if I can come up with some more song titles that will draw your attention in one way or another. :D
There should be more folk songs at MCS!

Steffen
